shorting, page-3

Hi

78018 shorts for the 19/10/09 + another 50000 shorts for the 20/10/09.

Haven't been looking at the daily short register for a while but it does appear that there is some shorting action going on. Its a shame you can't get a handle of Net shorts.

I notice the open auction yesterday was pretty bullish and if you discount a bot buy of 186 shares then net shares purchased on open was 78017 - could it be that the shorter from 19/10/09 has already bought back their position?

Anyway - shorters need to buy their position at some stage. I hope they cop a hiding as well.
