In all truth it depends on the Fundmanger/insto who much shares/ volumes they are using to short the stock...
I can only go buy what I've seen with IVA,LYC...
IVA was shorted down from $2,90 - 90 cents and then once the shorting was over it went back up to $2,00..
LYC- With some many shares on issue and daily volume turn over the shorting doesn't have as great an impact like what happen to IVA... But still has an effect...
The only way to know the shorting has stopped is when the bot has finished..
Its still there at present...
