You did not complain when the market was going up day after day and shorters got burned and had to cover quickly. Did the shorters ask the ASK to please regulate margin lending so they don't get burned day after day?

Suddenly the tables are turned and people are complaining.

It's a free market. If hedge funds are shorting a stock to the hilt then funds can BUY the stock and punish the hedge funds. They then need to cover and the funds win.

yet not enough people where buying ABS or any other stock being shorted.

If you don't want a free market then maybe move somewhere where communism reigns.
