Shorting

The shorting has increased on the ASX. It is up up from 203744 at 22.9 to 523457 at 27.9
The tables are 5 working days behind so the shorts may have grown.

The shorts on the USA OTC remain at 625517. I am unsure how far behind the reporting is there.
The OTC shorts are reported as having 7.09 days of average trading to cover so they are vulnerable if a big buyer/s or a big number of small buyers going in hard. It could produce a short squeeze which will influence our ASX price.

I believe the shorters are likely to be the the accumulators or working in consort with them. Those parties will be running those algorithms that drop the price down at the close with a few shares etc.
They are having a good run in this bear market.
Shorting a share is done when a company is debt laden making trading losses and has no future. None of these apply to ARR so the logical explanation is they are working as accumulators or with accumulators.

They will only stop when overwhelming buying comes into the market and they may exit at a higher price. They are hidden behind nominee companies that are showing increased holdings in the top 20. Several holders may be working in collusion and this collusion is unable to be stopped by the ASXs toothless regulations.
Its an unfair, immoral but legal game and many scared smaller holders will be drawn into selling.
