Your post could be misunderstood. CDM is an investment fund and, like ALF and others, they are able to Short OTHER COMPANY'S shares as part of their investment charter.

So CDM's announcement was NOT anything to do with who may or may not be short CDM shares. Having read your post I read this CDM announcement, which basically says they have very minimal Short exposure in their portfolio. It therefore makes complete sense that their shares haven't moved. Did you think they should?

Lastly, I know that many here would love a Short Cover driven CVI rally, but it ain't going to happen IMO. Credible and substantiated news from the company is the only thing that will do that.
