The shortman chart shows that recently the shorts were rising while the price was rising, which is unsustainable. My view is that at some point the shorts will have to unwind. They will hope it is when the price is lower, we'll hope it's when the price is higher. I fully expect the two will diverge at some point, the percentage shorted will go lower and the price will go up. The current position on the 8th December, 2016 of 9.05% total shorted seems like a lot to me, as is 58% shorts as % of volume on Tuesday 13th December. Unsustainable in my view. Looks to me like the shorters are doubling down. Hopefully they will come unstuck very soon.
