Last year Linc had already demobilised the Kuukpik #5 rig to seabee pad before the flow test on #18.
This turned a 3-5 hole season to a one hole season but it was not announced at the time. Instead they announced the pay zone and core on #18 and neglected to mention where the rig was (demobilised) and what it was doing (nothing).
In a cruel twist the demobilised rig also meant they could not recomplete #18 when they had issues and were unable to conduct the flow test. This info came out after the event, coincidentally after CS had sold off a chunk of their holding prior to the convertible bonds capital raise.
We dont know what we dont know, we only know what we are told. It could be a capital raise on the way and nothing to do with Umiat or could be problems with 23H or less likely could just be random shorting activity for no reason other than a balance sheet analysis.
