If I remember correctly, HNC bought at 2.50 at a time when the $ was at 73 cents. They have made plenty at 2.50 or above given the $ is now at 90 cents! It all gets back to whether they want a large sum of capital tied up in CMR and I cant see why they would leave it under someone elses management.
I think it will get disposed of very close to the new year. Last time they dumped it at 70 cents below market. I doubt they would do that again, but that price was a function of the bookbuild so anything is possible.
