I can't agree that merrils "sold down" as such.

Saw similar notice a while back - substantial holder notices are as clear as mud when I read them so on that occassion I emailed ASX to ask they interpret that notice for me - on that occassion it was simply moving stock from one hand to the other for as they say collateral - didnt ellaborate in that regard _ I assume it meant perhaps to borrow against etc. but was not a sell as such.

The last notice used similar terms to the one I enquired about - stock movement - collateral - loan. Cant access ASX notices ATM to confirm exact words coz site is down for maintenance so speaking from memory - email ASX monday if you want and check yourself - be interested myself
