The volume of shorted shares seems to have levelled off with only a minor change in share price. The key issues preventing further share price increases seem to be the perceived value destruction of the AZEK deal - wealth transfer to AZEK shareholders and also the risk of deal implementation. The long term future of the board would also have to be a question given the shareholder displeasure at the deal.
