i can understand where short sellers in a morrally correct and liquidity based role can benefit the market however who keeps check?? What we definately see is the scaremongering and profiteering at everyone else expense.
My argument beyon all this who's right and wrong though is that short selling is secondary to the wider market of supply (sellers) and demmand (buyers) and as such is not neccessary for the market to operate
