I imagine as cases got worse in the U.S, the shorting increased? It's quite a long timeline your showing there so I'd be interested to see the same data on a more recent and shorter time line. The SP seems to have support holding around the $6 mark for the last 2 to 3 weeks so it will be interesting to see if that holds in the next week or so.
Personally if it does break through the $6 mark substantially, I'll be looking for an entry to double down.....just quietlyIMO DYOR
