Am I the only one considering that shorts cannot cover their positions? Who will sell them 6% of all shares? If we assume that 1/3 of the short position is naked, it means potentially 1 million shares held by unsuspecting shareholders are counterfeit, i.e., non-existent shares ("naked shorts"). Does anyone have insights into how many shares might be counterfeit? How much of the low volume could be attributed to illegal wash trades by the shorters? Why are the buybacks so limited, almost non-existent? If management started buying, we would see a short squeeze. What are they waiting for?
