    Somebody correct me if I am wrong, although speculation of NCM lodging a takeover has been in the rumour mill for a long time, today is the first time it became official.

    It is usual practice for the first takeover offer to be rejected, takeover strategy 101. Surely there will be a second offer. I still can't believe opening price estimate is where it is now.
