Well like I stated in my previous posts, they have been rumours for years, and to trade solely on rumours you would have to be a fool IMO. And also, if you keep mentioning takeovers of a company for 8 years, you're bound to be right eventually ;) Why were the rumours different this time anyway? And besides, how did the rumours eventuate, obviously that smacks of insider trading/knowledge and shows how manipulated the market is. I recall some of you were the ones complaining about manipulation through shorts, now I don't hear those complaints anymore and when there's a takeover offer in your favour, there's silence. :)

I've been holding Lihir now for ages so for me it's great news, good luck to all holders this company is finally being valued fairly.
