Yeah.
I followed the same logic but also as it was a means of getting my shares earlier.
My decision to vote early was simply from the Bidder's statement.

"If you accept the Takeover Offer and the Takeover Offer is declared unconditional, Galaxy will issue you Galaxy Shares as consideration for your General Mining Shares on or before the earlier of:
(a) 1 month after you have validly accepted the Takeover Offer or the contract resulting from its acceptance becomes unconditional (whichever is later);
and (b) 21 days after the end of the Offer Period, provided that the Takeover Offer has become unconditional."

Means that early adopters would see their shares come through quicker.
I agreed on the 1st July and therefore could have mine as early as the 1st August.
Those agreeing in the last week will have longer to wait for the turnaround.
There will always be at least a 3-4 week lag.
