Seriously a great post as well as an expression of frustration for us fundamentalists, along with a chuckle at the pomposity of certain TA’s. Some assume that long term investors in Lynas are at a loss. Not true. Some hedge their investments, their core investment strategy long term. Some may make short term profits, that’s it. Some make profits to buy more stock.
I think the frustrating part for fundamental investors is the fact that TA does not care at all about the ‘value’ of Lynas. TA’s are looking at the market as opposed to the company. Lynas has broken down tremendously which is a playground of opportunity, via price movements and the direction the REE industry. The direction of the industry now accelerating. Let’s just agree that TA becoming more difficult.
The difference in approach in investing will always be a town meeting.
