Blur, it start to short on the news and made money well done. BUT if you look at the chart i have put up, Notice how much more money the institutions has already made shorting the stock before you get a chance to act on the news?
Notice how you made around 5% but the instos made around rough 30% and more? What they have done is that they have left you with the scraps as you were the last one to react once the official announcement comes out. So basically after shorting Lynas stock and then the news comes out they start buying back their shorting position, leaving retail traders in a very risky position. They look for ways to screw over retain people because REtail trader provide the SUPPLY of stock for the institutional traders to BUY BACK their position.
In other words by shorting ON THE NEWS you have placed yourself in a Low reward but high risk trade. Do you see my point?
