People on here advocating buying this stock should take a look at TRS. The 2 are highly correlated.

A falling $A decimates the margins in both these companies.

The idea that some people seem to have that what affects one retail stock will not affect another is just wishful thinking. When the best retail stock in the country (Woolworths) report weak sales you know that the also rans will be doing it even worse.

When was the last time anyone on here actually went and spent money in one of these places?. I did. 3 years ago. Debt, store rollout, investment in x......it always ends the same way for these companies.

The CEO is a cretin and the only reason the P/E looks attractive is because the "E" is so obviously wrong Regardless of who is running it, the weak economy, falling dollar and rampant competition make this one a long term losing proposition.
