It appears lots of short positions are getting squeezed today and they're buying back little by little looking at the trading pattern and numbers. About time too...... I don't think it's a BB as suggested on the other thread as there hasn't been a notification and there aren't the whole round numbers that may be expected in a BB. The pattern just before 3 pm points to short positions being closed IMO.
