7500 short positions sounds tiny!
When was the last time it was this low or lower?
It would be good to see a chart of history of number of short positions overlayed on a HDR chart. How can we go about doing this? The ASX doesn't provide short position historical data does it? We may have to rely on people who've been recording it daily into a spreadsheet.
