Depending on your position in life i.e. age, income, health etc., it doesn't matter what happens with the gold price short term. If the guts falls out of it and goes under 1000 well so be it. MYG will survive. Mid to long however, with a ridiculous growth in population and consumption in general (bearing in mind gold is not only pretty but used in medicine, food, electronics, fashion, aerospace and medals/awards), gold will always be very valuable. Gold is one of, if not the, most precious metal human beings have got. Don't let the fickleness of sentiment tell ya different. Don't let the commerce world dictate what is happening with it, when at the end of the day we all know it is and always will be highly sort after. Regardless of what the share price is doing, now is the time to be building a position relative to your situation.
