    It's not that complicated SimpleSimon. It's a simply a store of wealth. One that is embraced by billions (literally) for thousands of years. And probably for many more years to come. It's doesn't need to do anything else.

    If you can think of another material/metal/commodity (besides silver) that has the same or better record I would like to know.
