    i think now with china starting to push for magnetite instead of normal IO due to pollution it might separate the two as demand for mag increases.

    Demand is always a price factor and as demand increases the mag price should go up and leave the standard IO price behind or even floundering.
    Think about it - one of chinas bigger steel companies Ansteel is ramping up a large Mag mine here and pulling out all the financial stops to get it moving, at the same time their govt happens to say there needs to be a change to everybodies systems(steel mills) because the pollution is killing everyone and lowering the polution from the steel mills is a priority and using high % IO (mag) is a step in the right direction.

    thats pretty much a summary of what i got out of the last 12 months watching events on china on this matter.
