Without knowing the exact situation, we really couldn't tell. Who is the one loaning out the shares; they have to be in the top 20 or top 10 (naked shorting is illegal). We could probably have a good guess after we check the Top 10 list at the end of this month (3rd Q Rpt). May be the lender, shorter and accumulator are all the same party.
