What I like is that you disclosed you hold HUB. I have asked HC to change the disclosure so that its Held, Not Held or Short by adding that last choice it at least tells you what the motive is if any. To date, I have had no reply to the various times I have suggested it.
I am concerned by shorters only to the extent that the nameless reports can easily force a profit just by releasing some fictitious defamatory synopsis around the company. As I understand it Australian companies cannot claim defamation only natural persons so the directors have to have a go. I think that as the shareholders own the company there should be a change to extend defamation to legal entities like companies...
