Yep - ASX is more recent data, from the last trading day.
But they display the data differently. Shortman is a better comparison.
Shortman is 4+1 day delayed and shows;
- daily shorts vs daily turnover (in the table). This makes sense.
- total shorts vs total issued stock (in the chart). And this makes sense.
ASX is uptodate to the previous trading day, but it shows;
- daily shorts vs total issued stock (a less helpful comparison)
Yep - ASX is more recent data, from the last trading day. But...
