Hi Rumandcoke - I think there was a error in the net data that day as there weren't enough transactions that day for that many shorts to be covered. Even if every single purchase was to cover a short that day and none of the sales were short ... they could have only reduced the net shorts by ~0.4%.
I'm OK with 5% shorts decreasing slowly ... cause I like cooking 'em slowly!
