    think this is precisely the reason they have moved to T+2 to reduce volatility and provide less opportunity to bet on the market particularly if you use credit.

    as for all the I am right and you are wrong debate, it should all get down to what you are comfortable doing and wether you make a profit
    through your chosen activity, investors love income, franking credits etc, traders will love 2 day settlements and the one thing we all have in common is that "at some point we will all be out of the money" long term all things being good investors should be far better off, for me I enjoy the chase and range trade, I have missed huge runs in my trading life however they are hills and I only like being on the bottom of the hill before the trade, jump off and get another ride on a different train and all that matters is "have i made a profit".

    as for NYSE moving to T+2 they have committed to do so and it may well be an agreement reached by the G7 or G20 in a bid to provide more stability on a worlwide platform, ghedge runs are still going look at FMG recently I got out well above my target and it still ran 56c above that,now its below my exit target, you cannot afford to focus on anything beyond your plan, thats the key to success "A PLAN" that protects capital
