Can someone knowledgeable enlighten me on this.
Regarding the daily reporting of shorts, are they the nett outstanding shorts at the end of the day or are they the total number of shorts done during the day and do not consider the possiblity that some of the shorts could have been closed by a purchase of the shares?
If they are nett outstanding shorts, presumably, these would be added to other accumulated shorts done in previous days and that should be interesting.
