Hi Im new to Fairfax, moved most of my cash from my disaster fray into ERA uranium (very cashed up company) so have felt what shorters do. ERA has never recovered BUT about 6 months (April) ago they were the to shorted share and was squeezed. It went from $1.22 to $1.70 in a matter of 3 days after that the shorters left and are no longer interested. The volumes died. Most of the shares are held by RIO therefore was easy to short like fairfax. With small amount of tradable the shorters can move the prices and play. Uranium is dead hence the move.
When this share does move it will be very quick so beware.
ps I have done really badly last 12 month so take what I say with pinch of salt!!
