have a watch list of 17 shorts with tiny bids of approx. $400- $500 risked on each......
the total for all deposits required was a bit over $1000....... the advantage with short bids is that there is no interest to pay on the total amount risked, compared with long bids.....
the criteria for stocks selected was
* very large debt
* significant negative cashflow average over the last 5 years
* then technical
most bids are very much at the top end of their trading bands or a bit over so I am not expecting more than say a third to be taken out ........
having said that 4 of my feeler bids have been taken up and one with one of these stocks, GNC - a further much more substantial short was taken up and it is going really well as at today.....
