how I go about is to do a search on commsec including the following criteria
market cap
cashflow over the last 5 year and 1 year
sales over the last 5 years and 1 year
debt to equity
pe
transfer the results to excel and sort from there....ie. i'm looking for companies that are going poorly and with large debt.....
then look at the charts of the most likely....... for some reason I have not had as much success with shorts either.......
current shorts held and entry price -
china a50 9452 -a small amount, looking to add much more.....
recall holdings 6.60 - tinchy amount - just monitoring
flexigroup 2.43 - tinchy amount - just monitoring
I have stopped out a few of other tinchy ones at tinchy losses
if you think that the see-sawing of the xao will continue at the current lower levels, then now would be a good time to take out shorts while it is in the upper levels of its sideways trend
