As you can see, there were no shorts until second of August, when there was sudden spike. There's a delay in updates to the graph. On the Shortman site, if you hold your cursor over the blue line, it shows the amount of shares that were shorted. On the 4 of Aug there were 542,084 shares that were shorts. This number has been rising. I've taken the line below from a list. First number is amount of shorts, second number is amount of shares on issue, third number is % of gross shares that have been shorted.
