As a shareholder of both NWE and STX, MIN effectively have control of those tenements, they owned 80% plus now 74.5% of the remaining 20% (which was owned by NWE).
The takeover for NWE started in Dec 16 last year and 4 months later it is still going because the last 25% of NWE shareholders (inc myself) see the grab by MIN as opportunistic and not fair value. They won’t be getting the remaining 25% without increasing the offer.
If MIN contemplate taking over STX I would be very wary of Chris Ellison.
