Hi - disclaimer i dont follow STX but saw the posts above re short interest spike. makes 100% sense re 'arb' players shorting STX to buy SPD...but also...if look at pick below...when short interest really spiked was on announcement of inclusion to asx300 index....some funds/banks....trade these include/exclude stocks hard....so maybe thats an extra reason shorts spiked hard ( banks/hedgies...borrow stock to sell into the passive index buying etc)
