So you have borrowed the shares, sold them and driven the price...

    So you have borrowed the shares, sold them and driven the price down, bought them back lower plus more and given back shares to the insto which are now worth less than when you borrowed them??

    How does that guard against volatility?

    Sorry, but I can't see the point, apart from screwing it up for the average investor
