If the shorters are doing this to depress the price, then obviously the stock doesn't have the neceesary strength to counter this.

In other words, there is insufficient buying strength to overwhelm these shorters.

It is a tug of war of bulls and bears. Look at the recent price action and who do you think is winning?

As I have said before, AGO needs a game changer announcement, to squeeze these shorts.

An example is CPL, shorts have been solid for the past 6 months, yet a game changing announcement has caught the shorts out.

For the record I bought AGO open and offloaded when 97.5 didn't look like holding.

Now AGO is almost back to yesterday's low.
