I chuckled there.........hard to disagree with you to be honest
I'll consider another slant.........the fake, sham mainstream media has so damaged and indoctrinated people that actually, to many people their understanding of the "truth" is basically what the media (think government control) tells them to be the truth
Their arguments therefore are in defence of this skewed "truth" that has been narrated by the mainstream media (Democrat government).........which means to them......the sheep (perhaps unkind of me to say that of them), so they are indeed not lying......they are telling and defending "their truth"
