Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014!
Putin was waiting for Trump to win the 2020 election and then pull the US out of NATO as planned.
But Biden won and then Putin had to go all in with his total invasion which has come unstuck because the rest of the World supports Ukraine and hates Russia and Putin.
Trump is the only Western leader willing to grovel to Putin!
