No threat to democracy, its just crazy scare tactic talk and they all know it.
IMO though he will be a problem for other countries to get their heads around again. He will look to do everything in the interest of the USA first and last, wish ours would do a lot more of that.
It does cause some international problems for Europe. Do they pick up the tab for Ukraine? France the second biggest economy is a shit show with a hung parliament with left groups having the most seats but hate on another and only agreed to a get together to keep Le Pen out.
