The Federal Government does not currently permit paid ads on the ABC to help recoup the $1.4 billion in costs each year to operate but I reached out to politicians last year in view that ABC will be losing $5billions over the next 3 years. Australia Post raises $8.3 Billion every year to cover its costs, so I figure ABC should also.
