Wonderful to see that one of the protesters causing disruption to Hunter Valley rail system carrying coal has been charged and has been given a custodial sentence. Only 3 months in the clink but it counts a lot. Fines are a waste of time, they just use gofundme and the fine is covered. A custodial sentence on the other hand cannot be similarly bypassed. Copping a custodial prison sentence can also mpact their your long term future prospects in various spheres of life. Very good news and its about time these disruptions , including Stop Oil protests , get prison time where the offence warrants it
