It's because these market darlings like SYD, TCL, TPG, VOC etc are all priced very high compared to the rest of the market and when they under perform the expectations even the slightest they get slammed.
If you look at TPM's PE now as opposed to say $12.50 i think it would be much more fairly priced.
Im not trying to downramp either... I myself have purchased for a long term hold today
