I think that the shortpositions are over the allowed 10% from the Marketcap (ASX rule 19.5) and it is not possible to borrow BOC shares in AU. For that they was transferred from USA.(and short there without declaration in AU)
With the impossibility to cover so a large seize we have only to wait the start of the BCA Review for a big short-squeeze ;-)))))
