I bought CDU for its dividends, whether the SP goes up or down does not concern me. If the SP dips I buy more (for the divis).
Earlier in the year I sold some great stocks at a loss to purchase a house. I didnt care too much about the loss because I wanted the house.
So theres a couple of other reasons people buy and sell stocks.
Your narrow minded perpsective on peoples motives for buying and selling stocks is most likley a manifestation of a sheltered life. No offence intended, and probably explains your manic depressive posts.
