How would taking it private allow patient investors to realise its full potential, better than remaining listed?
All investors have to do is wait for the sp to come back into line with the potential. (This generally happens with listed companies over time.) Not only this, but all sizes of investors can easily top up with more shares/options if they like.
Delisting may suit a few of the large holders, especially if they can team up with a company willing to provide funding. But it would severely disadvantage smaller investors who need liquidity to manage their investments, and would therefore have to sell out at the current depressed price.
