......further to that ....IMO Oz has benefitted from oscilating between Labor and Lib govts .....because they don't oscilate too far
a left leaning centrist party versus a right leaning centrist party ...les polarised than US it seems to me

we are for good or for bad a socialist country and that you don't get away with withdrawing any of those supports of socialism without a voter backlash - the libs can only nibble at the edge

Labor can and do inovate .....but can't hurt industry too much withut a backlash .....although the fiurther they go on the more mature Labor are in not WANTING to hurt industry
Hopefully the Libs can get back to being the good economic managers they used to be and we can have a legitimate choice again federaly


....but hell , what would I know , I'm a boomner !
