Is this the appropriate moment to take out Icon, as far as Beach holders are concerned? Disclosure, I just bought Icon for first time. Personally I think it inevitable. In fact I think the Chevron deal was probably done on the nod and the wink understanding that beach would take out ICN PDQ. Clearly Beach can't have anyone else snapping them up, they want it to be them and Chevron and nobody else and Chevron clearly aren't going to want to be in bed with a company trading at 21.5c outside then ASX 300 for too long. So it all adds up. That and the fact ICNs sell side is artificially stacked and they haven't budged this morning while BPt moved significantly on this relatively perfunctoryly stated Ann makes me think it is on. Wouldn't surprise me if its done by the morning. What do other beach holders think?
