it all comes back to the point should the bank be using shareholders money to buy back overpriced stock??
what would the price of nab be right now if it wasn't for the bb?
probably lower than cba is my best guess.
the price of this stock doesn't reflect it true value.
i'm all for off market buybacks like most others. at least the market can present investors with what should be fair value as opposed to manipulation of price.
who is looking after the investor when they step in and buy nab at these levels in the current market conditions.
whoever buys nab now while the market as a whole is in the condition it's in will be burned (post buy back).
